- ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND WASTE POLICY
Our primary goals are to conduct activities that add value to the environment and cultural heritage in the regions where we operate and beyond, and to control our environmental impacts as much as possible.
We identify and control the impacts we make on the environment.
We are prepared for pollution-related risks and emergencies, and we comply with environmental regulations.
Through activities such as waste separation, reducing waste quantities, and efficient use of natural resources, we continuously improve our environmental performance.
We separate the generated waste into paper, plastic, metal, and glass with the support of both our employees and guests, aiming to recycle and reintroduce them back into nature.
We track the waste until its recycling/disposal stage.
In our main waste unit, we stack plastic, paper-cardboard, metal, glass, and organic waste separately. Later, we deliver these wastes to a licensed company for disposal to ensure recycling.
We temporarily store the vegetable oils used for frying purposes in our hazardous waste area and subsequently deliver them to a licensed company for recycling.
We reduce single-use water consumption in employee areas by using water coolers.
We use refillable soap dispensers in employee handwashing sinks and toilets.
We train our employees on precautions to take in case of hazardous chemical spills.
By placing waste separation bins in guest and employee areas, we segregate recyclable waste.
We strive to minimize systems that would cause hazardous waste formation and work to reduce our solid waste production by using large packaging less.
We encourage our employees and guests to be environmentally conscious.

- PROCUREMENT POLICY
Reducing waste and ensuring continuity in procurement is the most important criterion in procurement. In line with a sustainable procurement approach, we expect our suppliers to:
Have Quality Assurance Management Systems, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, and internationally accepted environmental and sustainability ethics/certifications.
Prefer products with reusable features, deposit-based products, or organic products that do not generate non-recyclable waste during procurement.
Ensure that their production and supply do not have harmful effects on the environment and comply with environmental legislation.
Use resources without causing harm to natural life and the ecosystem, using and consuming them appropriately, and complying with fishing bans.
Work to minimize and manage their waste properly, offering less packaging or bulk packaging alternatives in product packaging.
Offer eco-friendly, economical, local, ethically valued, recyclable or recycled materials, organic, bio, vegan, not tested on animals, not containing harmful chemical components, etc.
Reflect the country's and region's cuisine, traditions, and culture in products and services.
We prioritize these viewpoints and communicate our perspective to stakeholder suppliers. We strive to create efficient procurement opportunities with our suppliers and aim to reduce environmental impacts arising from procurement processes.
- ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH, AND SAFETY POLICY
We conduct our activities in accordance with legal regulations, environmental, and occupational health and safety standards. To ensure this:
We identify the environmental, occupational health, and safety impacts and risks of our activities and take necessary precautions to prevent the occurrence of these risks or reduce their unwanted effects.
We establish objectives and programs for the continuous development of our environmental, occupational health, and safety management system, review them, and make necessary resource investments.
We fulfill the requirements of environmental, occupational health, and safety-related legislation.
We conduct necessary controls and take measures to prevent and eliminate hazardous environments that could cause accidents and illnesses, resulting environmental pollution, originating from our activities.
We ensure the participation of our employees through training.
We encourage our suppliers to comply with environmental, occupational health, and safety standards and cooperate in these areas in line with our policy.
We inform our guests about our environmental awareness, expecting them to contribute to respecting and protecting nature during their holidays.
By continuously improving our Occupational Health and Safety culture, we aim to achieve the sustainable goal of "Zero Workplace Accidents."
- ENERGY AND WATER CONSUMPTION POLICY
Energy Management
One of the most important steps related to sustainability is ensuring energy efficiency. Firstly, energy consumption should be measured to identify issues and potential areas for savings. Low-consumption equipment and systems should be preferred. Long-term improvements should be made through automation management and monitoring resources. Energy savings should be continuously analyzed through maintenance, supervision, and monitoring.
Boiler Room and Heating Center; Boiler combustion efficiency is continuously monitored, and areas with insulation deficiencies are identified and corrected. Boiler flue gas temperatures are around 90°C, indicating efficient
Chemical Usage
Chemical substances are materials we use in many areas of our lives, making them easier but potentially causing negative consequences due to their harmful effects. Their use is prevalent in maintenance and repair activities, cleaning processes, and garden pesticide applications at our facility.
It's important to educate the staff on the recommended usage amounts and methods when using detergents and disinfectants to ensure they do not exceed the quantities specified on the packages or boxes.
Microfiber cloths are used according to the application areas.
Single-use materials are not used in general showers, toilets, and common areas.
A dosing system is used for quick stain removal and economical use of chemicals.
Women's Rights and Gender Equality Policy
We prioritize gender equality in our operation.
We ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all our employees, regardless of gender.
We support the participation of women in the workforce across all our departments, offering equal opportunities.
We adhere to the "equal pay for equal work" policy without discriminating based on gender.
Tasks are distributed in line with the principle of equality.
We create an environment necessary for equal access to career opportunities.
We formulate educational policies and support the participation of women to enhance awareness.
We create a work environment and practices that maintain work-life balance for women.
We support women's presence in company management, offering equal opportunities.
We do not tolerate any form of abuse, harassment, discrimination, suppression, coercion, false accusations, etc., towards women. We acknowledge the value they bring to the world and our institution and support their existence.
Carbon Emission and Carbon Footprint
The Carbon Footprint represents the damage individuals and companies inflict on the world through energy consumption in terms of the formation of gases causing global warming, leading to the greenhouse effect, and emitted into the atmosphere through the use of fossil fuels, primarily resulting in carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Total electricity, LNG, charcoal for barbecues, hotel vehicles, and diesel consumption contribute to carbon emissions.
We strive to reduce energy consumption by using machinery and equipment with high energy efficiency.
Through increased awareness among staff, especially through training programs, we aim to enhance recycling efficiency within our hotels, focusing on materials like glass, paper, plastic, and metal. Recycling waste leads to emission reduction because the energy required to produce raw materials from scratch is more than that needed for recycling. For example, recycling 1 ton of paper prevents the emission of 36 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
We aim to make purchases from nearby regions to minimize the environmental impact caused by supplier delivery vehicles' CO2 emissions.
Personnel and Work Life within the Scope of Sustainability
Employees are enrolled in the Orientation Training Program from the moment they start, covering topics such as the hotel's history, rules to be followed within the facility, expectations from employees, our environmental efforts, policies, and quality management systems.
We emphasize the importance of having competent individuals in their fields among our employees.
We provide internship opportunities for tourism students to gain work experience. We support our employees through training and career management programs, aiming to fulfill the required positions within our organization.
Meals served in the staff cafeteria are free for employees. Additionally, hot and cold beverages are available.
